“What is going on?” Angie asked loudly as if anyone on this empty lifeless floor would answer her. “What is going on?” A voice in her head echoed. “What is going on?” She looked at the screen in front of her and wondered: “Why for the last two days I keep reading about the purpose of life? I wasn’t looking for such articles… What is happening?”
She started to feel confused again. Are these things for real? Or is she being delusional? What is the purpose of life? Why do we wake up every morning? Is there something we need to do in this life that we aren’t aware of? How do we find this purpose? What if we don’t find this purpose?
She took a deep breath and returned to her screen and to the article she was reading. The article she has been reading is the following (by Henri Juntilla http://www.wakeupcloud.com/who-you-are/)
“Who you really are”
“You are a magnificent being having a human experience. You came to this blue planet with a purpose.
You have something to share with the world. You have something to contribute. You know what it is, because your heart has always been pulling you in that direction, but you’ve been too afraid to take the leap.”
“I wish I knew what you are talking about” Angie sighed. “I wish I knew what my heart is longing to. I wish I had the slightest idea of what I can contribute to the world.” She took a deep breath and continued reading:
“Anyone can make a living following their passion. If you are determined, there is always a way to create a life that makes you fulfilled and happy.
The choice is always in your hands. You alone carry the responsibility for your life.
You may not know the how. You may not even know what your passion or purpose is. The only way to find out is to start taking action and following your hearts deepest desire.
You know you’re heading in the right direction when it just feels right. There is no denying that you’re doing what you should be doing.”
Umm… she sighed again… I read something similar yesterday. “When things happen effortlessly and doors open, it is because you are not only on your higher path, but you are weaving it into the higher vision of mankind. You are here to evolve certain qualities within yourself and to manifest your higher purpose. You can know what those qualities are by looking at what challenges continually present themselves to you. They may present themselves as separate situations, and yet there us a pattern to what you are learning in your life and the lessons you are attracting.” (Living with Joy, pp. 78-79)
She took another deep breath and continued reading:
As you face challenges, fears, and failures on your path to success, you realize that they will pass. They are blessings in disguise. They are there to catapult you into becoming better, stronger, and wiser.
It’s all too easy to feel sorry for yourself, become frustrated, or succumb to your fears. We were born with only two fears: the fear of loud noises, and the fear of falling.
All other fears are learned, and they can be unlearned. When you face your fears, they naturally diminish. Your confidence, self-discipline, and courage grow.
You feel empowered and more in control of your life. You feel joy and happiness, because that is your internal guidance system telling you that you’re on the right track.
You are here to contribute something. You have a purpose. There are people out there waiting for you to realize this.
They are waiting to hear from you. They desperately want you to get over whatever is stopping you and put yourself out there.
The life you are living now is what you have chosen all of your life. If you’re not happy with it, change it. You have the power to transform your life into anything you want.
There is no better time to start than now. The stars will never align. Circumstances will never be perfect, so you might as well start now.
Next time you’re feeling down, frustrated, and ready to throw in the towel, remember this; you are so much more than what you give yourself credit for.
You are a genius. You are a problem-solving machine, everyone is. You can do anything you put your mind on, and you can live the life of your dreams.”
Thank you 🙂
